Audition Information

January brings with it all the auditions for summer programs away from home.  These auditions can be a wonderful learning experience.  We recommend auditions as an affordable way to take "master classes".  We recommend various auditions to individual students. We will NOT recommend auditioning to all students.  However, if you would like to attend some auditions, please talk to Miss Judy or one of your teachers.  Please remember, auditions are a good way for more advanced dancers to stretch the "comfort zone".

Tips
1. Make sure your dance shoes are in good shape.
2. Clean out your dance bag & fill it with necessities.
3. Don't be intimidated. The more you do the more comfortable you will feel. Go to as many auditions as you can.
4. Wear proper dance attire; neat & clean.
5. Slick back that hair! Use light makeup.
6. Go in with a positive attitude.
7. Get a good nights sleep and eat healthy the day of the audition.
8. Listen carefully and follow directions.
9. Stand straight; keep your chin and eyes up.
10. As always, mind your manners!
